Chad Henning was born in Pretoria in 1967 and completed his education there, including his National Diploma in Photography in 1992. South African Communications appointed him as a photographer in 1993 where he focused on Development and Education projects. Shortly after covering the historic 1994 South African elections, he left for Europe to travel.On his return, Chad made his way to Cape Town where he worked as a black and white photographic printer, perfecting his darkroom skills. Digital photography brought new challenges andpossibilities and Chad incorporated them into his work .Using his new knowledge and skills to further his career as an advertising photographer,he has won several awards intheindustry.Theseinclude a Bronze Lion at Cannes and in 2007 Gold at Loeries and Silver at Epica for the Burger print campaign.A partner in Salisbury Studios, shooting 22 million pixelLeaf digital, hisphotographic vision and technical execution brings conceptual scamps to" reality"and fine prints to ultra large format.Equally comfortable in naturalbeauty,underwaterfacingGreatWhitesharks,acorporate board or challenging advertising briefs, Chad Henning's desire to create a memorable image is constant.
